Citrus season is here! It’s a busy time ahead for Team Marionette. With our biggest fruit production period upon us. Lemons, limes, grapefruit, pummelo, mandarins. Look for that pop of orange dripping from the tress in your local neighborhood. And take advantage of that that you might not see all year, toasted chestnuts? roasted cumquats? Produce that hasn’t been refrigerated for extended periods or traveled far distances costs less and tastes oh so much better (not to mention the smaller carbon footprint). And although the range of seasonal fruit this time of year is dominated by one family, there’s no less fun to be had.
