Brand, Content & Creative Coordinator
Leave Cover | 2 (flexible) days per week | 6 month contract with potential to extend
Marionette is looking for a practical, organised creative all-rounder. This role is largely built around an established content and campaign plan, but we’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited to bring fresh eyes, roll it out with care, capture content over the summer season, and help build on what’s already in motion. You’ll be joining a small, fast-moving team that works closely with the hospitality community as we continue to grow our range of liqueurs.
About Marionette
Since 2017, Marionette Liqueur has been bringing real flavour to life, championing Australian produce, working closely with local farmers, and creating products that sit somewhere between classic and contemporary - less sugar, no essences, and full flavour. Our brand is made for professional bartenders, curious home consumers and discerning hosts who appreciate quality, versatility and importantly a sense of play.
What you’ll do
Capture product, cocktail and event photography, and seasonal production as needed.
Produce engaging reels in brand style.
Adapt and schedule weekly social content from an existing content plan.
Write captions and short-form copy in Marionette’s tone of voice.
Make light edits to design files and prepare artwork for print
(potential scope for broader design work for the right candidate).Support distributor, retail and event collateral where required.
Keep files organised and maintain a tidy asset library.
Assist with social media comms.
Support social campaigns over Summer period, new product launch roll out in early 2027
Experience with paid social campaign setup and implementation and reporting (optional - please see below)
What we’re looking for
Good instincts and feel for tone of voice.
Basic photography skills.
Adept at video editing for social media.
Familiarity with Adobe Suite - namely Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
Someone who works quickly, accurately and independently, with confidence.
Experience creating and scheduling social content.
Experience with Paid Ad optimisation (optional - please see below)
What success looks like
Weekly content goes out on time and feels unmistakably Marionette.
Campaign assets are produced in brand tone of voice.
Files, briefs and print-ready assets are easy to find and well organised.
The brand stays active, consistent and responsive while the team is on leave.
Paid social activity is briefed, launched and reported clearly.

The Future
This role has the potential to grow beyond the leave contract for the right person. We’re especially interested in someone who brings fresh eyes, good ideas and the appetite to help the business grow over time. If you have the capability and interest to take on both content coordination and paid social, we’re happy to facilitate training.
Separate paid social contract
We’re also open to splitting out the paid social component as a separate contract role, with a weekly maintenance fee for campaign management, optimisation and reporting. This could suit someone who prefers a focused digital role, or someone who wants to combine it with the content and coordination work above.

Salary & Expectations
Flexible hours, with a combination of work from home/distillery visits in Thomastown where needed for content capture. Salary negotiable and based on experience.
Start Date
Ideally, the successful candidate will start as soon as possible to allow for a smooth handover, with August focused on transition and onboarding, and September/October commencing maternity leave cover.
