Citrus

Orange Curaçao
A$60.00

A bright, fresh hit straight from the orchards of Mildura — home to exceptional Australian oranges and the Marionette Margarita. Warm spice and cinnamon, sweetness from a trio of citruses, and scents of gingerbread, orange oil and sweet raisin. It’s basically a grassy gold glass of freshly baked citrus cake.

Complex in character, honest in flavour, Marionette Liqueur makes drinks and spirits dance.

Bitter Curaçao

Brimming with seville oranges and ready to transport you to the heart of the Australian Mediterranean (Mildura), this is the bitter aperitivo your negronis have been waiting for. Candied orange twirls with the earthy citrus of cacao, pomelo and orange pith, and ends with a hit of herbal bitterness and pepper.

We’re here to restore the reputation of blue drinks, one cerulean bottle of sun-drenched Australian citrus at a time. As vibrant in flavour as it is in colour, this light, bright and confected liqueur serves up the fun with a non-negotiable splash of nostalgia.

Blossom

Elderflower
A$60.00

Every elderflower variety has a unique aroma and it took us over a year to find, finesse, balance and bottle our ideal bouquet. The outcome? A pourable posy of florals, citrus, sweet honeyed-apricot and crisp green grapes. With a clean, off-dry Riesling and brioche finish, Marionette Elderflower is distinct yet delicate and remarkably versatile.

What’s the deal with elderflower right now?

Riding high on the cocktail coattails of the Italian spritz trend, elderflower’s refreshing but sophisticated character is making a real mark in the modern drinks landscape. The Hugo Spritz (elderflower liqueur, prosecco, soda, mint and lime), for example, has recently emerged as an elegant, lower-alcohol alternative to its Aperol-led cousin, and elderflower’s compatibility with cucumber and mint has made it a go-to twist for the ever-popular Eastside. It’s fast-becoming a foundational flavour on menus across the world as cocktail culture evolves and consumers seek fresher flavours and lighter options.

Stone Fruit

Apricot Brandy Liqueur
A$60.00

Goulburn Valley really does a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to stunning stone fruit and the apricots used here are no exception. Indulgent, sticky lashings of spiced fruit with a surprisingly dry, fresh finish. All the delight of an apricot dessert without the effort of chewing.

Peach
A$60.00

This one gets its flavour from perfectly ripe peaches and nectarines that spent their adolescence lazily soaking in the Goulburn Valley sun. Lightly floral white peach on the nose and crisp yellow nectarine on the palate. We’ve just about bottled the taste of summer.

Nuts

Amaretto
A$60.00

A sister (not a twin) to your typical amaretto. The almonds that make our take on this classic cocktail staple come from the bountiful and biodynamic orchards of Mildura. We then add a lick of golden syrup and salt for maceration, marzipan-ness from Victorian apricot kernels and a little Rutherglen muscat to round it all out.

Nocino
A$60.00

A late-summer harvest of green walnuts from the Yarra Ranges meets the tang of lemon myrtle in Marionette’s Nocino. Expectedly camphorous in aroma, with a touch of chocolate courtesy of toasted wattleseed, it’s a classic Italian digestif with an Australian botanical twist. Saluti, mate.

Berries

Mure
A$60.00

Beautifully plump blackberries fresh from the Tassie brambles make for an earthy, dark fruit aroma here. Expect a tart, almost jammy, first sip that unfurls into a mix of sour cherry, spice and tannin. Dark and complex, like the plot of Shutter Island.

Dry Cassis
A$60.00

Sweet, juicy Tasmanian blackcurrants turned into what could only be (but won’t be, for legal reasons) described as Ribena for adults. We call it a dry cassis because it’s a little more tart and has about half the sugar of its traditional French counterpart. Plush, zingy and sings with anything sparkling.

Groseille
A$60.00

Marionette Groseille is packed with dense, ripe, redcurrant notes on the nose, without being cordial sweet (more like a berry tart). On the palate it’s silky and fresh, with good concentration. Momentarily juicy and sweet in the middle, while maintaining a nice natural acidity through the finish. This elusive ingredient will let you create Christmas in a glass, at any time of the year.

Tropics

Pineapple
A$60.00

You can take the fruit out of Far North Queensland but it took a motley crew of liqueur-makers to work out how to take the Far North Queensland out of the fruit and turn it into a damn good daiquiri. Green clove spice from the skins, a zap of fresh pineapple acid and a big ol’ tropical punch of proper fruit flavour in every sip.

Absinthe
A$100.00

The nose is citrus-forward, featuring bright oils, a pronounced green fennel character, and delicate oral anise with hints of menthol. The palate opens with bright, deeply aromatic wormwood, transitions to white pepper, then reveals warming winter spices—cinnamon and baking spices emerge. Candied citrus, pear, and apple notes unfold, finishing with refreshing menthol and anise. The mouthfeel is both oily-citrus and tinglingly spiced—zingy and bright. This absinthe was crafted for the traditional ritual: served with ice-cold water and a dissolved sugar cube.
