Elderflower
Each and every component of Marionette Elderflower was carefully introduced to create a harmonious floral bouquet. On the nose this liqueur unfolds with blossom and refreshing nectarine iced tea. A honeyed apricot mid-palate and the crisp acidity of green grapes tie it all together, finishing clean and refreshing, with whispers of an off-dry Riesling. Serve in a simple spritz, an East Side, or use as the star ingredient in summer cocktails.

Elderflower Spritz
45ml Elderflower Liqueur
5ml Lemon Juice
90ml Sparkling Wine
30ml Soda Water
Build in wine glass. Add ice. Garnish with lemon slice
Eastside
30ml Elderflower Liqueur
30ml Gin
25ml Lime juice
5ml Sugar Syrup
4 Mint Leaves
2 slices cucumber
Shake all with ice. Strain into a coupe glass.
Elderflower Collins*
60ml Elderflower Liqueur
30ml Lemon Juice
60ml Soda Water
Build in a highball glass. Top with ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
*For a Grapefruit & Elderflower Collins sub Grapefruit Soda for Soda, and only use 5ml Lemon Juice
Elderflower Sour*
40ml Elderflower Liqueur
20ml Gin
25ml Lemon Juice
20ml Egg White
Shake with ice strain into a coupe.
*For a Peach & Elderflower Sour omit the Gin, and use 30ml Elderflower Liqueur and 20ml Peach Liqueur
Yarra Ranges Blossom
Crafting Marionette Elderflower Liqueur was no ordinary endeavour. Much like roses, each Elderflower variety has its own distinct scent and finding the right balance meant exploring the countryside, tree by tree. The team profiled blossom aromas—from lychee-like sweetness to crisp green apple. They landed on rolling hills of the Yarra Ranges, where Jocelyn Cross of Petite Ingredients grows elderflowers that form the backbone of Marionette Elderflower. They turned to Spurrel Foraging for purple elderflowers with an intensely aromatic profile, otherwise known as “Black Lace”.
To elevate the blend, Marionette worked with long time collaborator; Michael at Citrus Prime, also in the Yarra Ranges, for a rare and fragrant addition: citrus blossom. Michael and his father hand-picked blossoms as part of their pruning process, a labor of love that introduced a vibrant layer of citrus to complement the elderflower’s floral notes. After rigorous testing of blossoms from oranges, limes, lemons, and mandarins, they settled on the perfect combination to bring balance and brightness to the liqueur.

Deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes.
